  1. Probably start him in A+ but promote quickly if he continues to dominate high A hitters
  2. He was bad early this season, at the plate and in the field. Whatever was going on, he seems to have corrected it. Guy played infield in the minors and a fair bit last season. Not going to write him off as a guy that can played a limited role in the infield (emergency replacement, occasional start). Would be good to have existing internal options available rather than sign a backup infielder to use up a roster spot.
  3. Any new poster is a candidate for rehabilitation.
  4. Blaming Shatkins for the mess AA left (old, declining team) and at the same time crediting AA for the Braves, after 1 year. SMH.
  5. Gurriel has played 46 games at SS. Bichette is the SS going forward, but in event of Bichette in-game injury Gurriel should be available along with depth guys at Buffalo Point is, Jays do not have to have a roster a backup SS when Bichette and Gurriel are active
  6. Urena yes, and he probably is not on the Jays for much longer. But options and price are why those guys are on the Jays still, and Galvis isn't.
  7. I believe we are forgetting that Gurriel can play a not bad SS
  8. Options and controllable
  9. Meaningless move in the grand scheme of things. Jays probably always intended to trade him at the deadline for something, and apparently were offered nothing. Save some money, sign some other dime a dozen backup in the offseason.
  10. https://fantasy.fangraphs.com/hidden-gems-from-the-2018-draft/ Article with 2 of 5 hidden gems from 2018 draft being Jays.
  11. With pitcher injuries seeming to get worse and the change in pitching usage, I'm no longer targetting 5-6 SP, but a few less than that and filling the gap with multi inning guys. SP wins and IP have dropped every year for the past 5.
  12. Weird, but it will be good to see what AA can do
  13. Pitch was a foot low lol
  14. Jays are probably heeding some medical advice on Vlad. Which would also explain the Jays push for Vlad to spend the offseason training in FL
  15. Got too many OF and need to upgrade 2B. Aristides Aquino available for a good 2B
  16. if that ball clears the fence someone could be hurtin' bad
  17. Easy there fella, control yourself.
  18. Eze let me know and we've been engaged in trade talks for the past few days, thought we had a deal which is why i just left him on the bench instead of drop
  19. Urshela this year's Joey Wendle?
  20. You've had s***** luck with the opposite sex, eh
