    Grant did not make any such distinction. Legally the doctor or whoever provided these drugs may have responsibility. Many drugs are only available by prescription for a reason.

    Eric Blair: Based on the timing of the trades they have made (Donaldson, Happ, Stroman, Sanchez, Pillar, Martin, Osuna etc.) and the returns they have received, do you think that Shapiro-Adkins are completely over matched by there peers. 2:22 Craig Edwards: Not based on the above, no. Trading a pre-injured Donaldson before the year might have been the safer bet, but giving it a shot in 2018 before a rebuild was probably the right choice. The Happ trade didn’t seem too bad. The Sanchez trade seemed a little odd, though he’s hurt now. They probably made the right choice about Osuna. The Stroman trade seems odd, but it isn’t crazy to have prioritized pitching and taken the best offer out there. The real test for them begins this offseason as they need to supplement their MLB-level prospects with good players to try and win back the fans.

    Agreed. When a pitcher is ready for MLB, promote. How many pitchers get through 6 years of service time without a significant arm injury and / or loss of effectiveness? I'm guessing a relatively small percentage.

    Nah, you wrong. Genetics do play a role in propensity for obesity, along with behaviour and grandma's cooking (which I previously mentioned). Vlad has the wrong genes, and has been well fed since birth. Any discussion of potential weight loss needs to consider these realities.

    Agree with the bolded. Cashman says if you aren't making changes, you are getting worse. Jays are starting some position players that have upside, but realistically project to be bench calibre guys on championship teams.

    Thanks for somewhat proving my point, but my posts have nothing to do with race. Any part of the world where people have been poor, eating marginal diets for hundreds of years, if you suddenly stick one of them in N.A. culture with a rich family will likely blow up to be obese. The discussion was whether Vlad will get leaner, I'm saying with his family background and his childhood, not bloody likely. Which is why i voted 10+ lbs heavier in the Vlad spring training weight poll.
