  1. Shut it, you aren't a mod.
  2. I own Orelvis in LOD, and I know you want him. We can make a deal.
  3. He earned some new rope with last year's 2nd half.
  4. Alford would be gone already if he sucked all last year.
  5. FO has bought into Alford's 2nd half of 2019. He's not going anywhere. 26th man
  6. Keep an eye on Kloffenstein, first year of full season ball.
  7. Gotta figure the Dodgers will pony up a young pitcher now
  8. The reports were that the Twins would use him out of the bullpen this year but this would not preclude his being an SP later.
  9. Convoluted, or Boston is having 2nd thoughts about the deal and has no problem torpedo'ing the whole thing.
  10. It's fair to be angry at cheaters in sports.
  11. Yes, obviously the trade was conditional, or not finalized before it was leaked.
  12. A little early for that. A couple of years from now.
  13. Bubble Guys, need to eliminate 1 of these: Julio Teheran Brian Dozier Maikel Franco Avail cheap: Jesse Chavez Nick Ahmed Ryan Zimmerman Yusmeiro Petit
  14. Guys available for a pick upgrade: Jonathon Schoop - full time in Detroit, projected for 25HR James McCann Dexter Fowler Jose Alvarado Jameson Taillon Bubba Thompson
  15. I almost sent you an offer involving Berrios, but couldn't pull the trigger
  16. Been known for a bit, but I don't recall it being posted.
  17. Jays likely top 2020 IFA sign. Manuel Beltre, SS, Dominican Republic Beltre, 15, is the most famous player in the 2020 class, as he has spent years documenting his daily training on his Instagram account of more than 35,000 followers. A baseball rat, Beltre has a simple, repeatable swing from the right side and is one of the top hitters in the class, with ample game experience and a baseball IQ well beyond his years. He's expected to sign with the Blue Jays. Beltre trains with Jaime Ramos.
  18. Hindsight is 20/20. The decision to try and mitigate the issue by non-invasive method would be in consultation with medical personnel. We aren't privy to the info they had when the decision was made. Maybe the docs gave it a 70% chance of success? Vs. a 5% chance of unsuccessful surgery, ending his career? Not an easy choice.
  19. If I'm in the States and need cheap beer, I reach for Yuengling.
  20. Maybe. Anyways, these things aren't necessarily in the team's control. The Yankees cannot force Paxton to go under the knife.
  21. A specific exercise regimen and healing hands can often mitigate back issues ie. Estrada.
  22. Right, maybe. Although the team with the damaged goods is the Twins, not the Dodgers.
  23. So the issue is Graterol's medical record. After looking at the record, Boston sees him as a reliever. Twinkies probably gonna cough up a different or additional asset. Lord knows the Red Sox farm could use reinforcement.
  24. Yes. Jays now stack up pretty well with Boston, talent wise.
