  1. f*** i really hope we see Martin patrolling CF for years
  2. Pedro comp on Meyer lol
  3. Where do you get Meyer to Miami? Hmmm I guess the mlb.com stream has a lag.
  4. Could be Lacy, Veen, Martin
  5. Haha, the f***ing Orioles did it again
  6. Eh, I was just throwing s*** out. The bigger question is how much signability influences who the Jays pick. Jays, being a non-US team probably have a bigger issue with this than other teams, so more influence on who they pick.
  7. Where the f*** u been? Ready to make a deal for Orelvis in LOD?
  8. He's a ginger, but apparently 6'1" and over 200 lbs now. One of the more athletic guys in the draft.
  9. I'm sure Meyer would be ecstatic to be picked by the team in the hockey capital of the universe. Got to wonder if this is part of the reason for the strong linkage of the Jays to Meyer. How much more of factor is signability for a team like the Jays?
  10. Let's keep in mind the rankings we have access to on various fandom sites are based on talent/skill assessment. Messaging from the Blue Jays indicates they place high (?) value on player makeup / personality / absence of douchiness when evaluating the players. So there is going to be considerable differences between the Jays and fandom site lists.
  11. From Baseball America: Gonzales has elite bat-to-ball skills and plate discipline, and his strong hands allow him to make hard contact to all fields. He’s an above-average runner and has good baserunning instincts. Keston Hiura is a frequent comp for Gonzales, though the New Mexico State product has a better defensive profile and less raw power. Dustin Pedroia has been thrown on him as well. With his tremendous track record of hitting and strong Cape performance, Gonzales should go off the board among the first five picks. Fangraphs has Gonzales with above average future power. The idea that Gonzales will not hit HR against MLB pitching is silly.
  12. I don't see the Madrigal comp. Madrigal has no power. Albies, McNeil are better comps.
  13. Between Hancock, Meyer, and Gonzales, gimme the bat. BA's ranking as of yesterday has Hancock #4, Gonzales #5, and Meyer #10.
  14. Hmmm..... just have one NPD in January based on 2019 season results. Which means the following NPD would be January 2022, based on 2021 season results. In effect, the 2020 covid stupid season does not determine any draft order.
  15. The rules for 2020 have been in place for a while now, and it is late to make a rule change with immediate impact. Some owners are barely paying attention. Standard operating procedure is for teams to make MiLB cuts prior to the draft, and / or promote from the MiLB roster, and / or trade surplus assets. The only real difference this year is the lack of performance data on which to make these decisions. In any event, CD appears to have enough borderline MLB and MiLB assets to make adjustments. Like TCA I see no reason to make a change.
  16. Aaron Sanchez was an upside play that worked out beautifully.
  17. As expected, its Baltimore.
  18. I would explode.
  19. From what I've read the concern on Hancock is health and not the SSS 2020 performance. But then, is there really a reason to have more or less concern about Hancock's arm compared to any other pitcher in the draft? An arm can be f'ed up at any time. I recall health concerns about Mize were floating round prior to the 2018 draft.
  20. I had the sense there was going to be a medical report on Hancock released before the draft. Anyone have anything on this?
  21. Probably shows up in normal blood sample analysis done for every heart attack patient
  22. I didn't make any conclusions c-poop. You did. This one has <20% of heart attack patients under the age of 40 using drugs https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2019/03/190307081026.htm
  23. This says the number of young heart attack patients using drugs is a relatively small percentage, probably not much higher than the background drug use rate of the general population. https://www.webmd.com/heart-disease/news/20190307/heart-attacks-striking-more-young-adults With your history it makes sense that you would attribute premature deaths to drug use, with no evidence.
  24. Drugs seems to be your go-to everytime. Do you use drugs, connorpee?
