  1. Just the baseball gods balancing things out.
  2. Vladdy showing off the new wheels
  3. That bad, eh. And I see there's a curfew as well. I'm gonna miss Buxton and J-Mart on day 1 of our H2H.
  4. Minnesota - Boston game postponed due to shooting of unarmed person during traffic stop. I don't think MLB is smart to do this, there are already enough weather and covid related disruptions. Just have a minute of silence before the game.
  5. You seem upset, Spanky. Take it easy.
  6. Yes, but still 9-4-1.
  7. You need more than a Cutch dinger to beat me, mate. A lot more.
  8. There were more than a few articles from pundits questioning if he was done. And he slid a long way down on draft boards.
  9. JD Martinez 4-5 with 3 dingers. NOT washed up.
  10. This is what I been waiting for since trading Tucker for him.
  11. Not without some reps first, true.
  12. When Springer comes back and Tellez is demoted, here is my ideal lineup. Springer CF Bichette 2B Semien SS Vladito DH Hernandez RF Gurriel 1B Biggio 3B Grichuk LF Jansen/Kirk C Yes, that is Gurriel at 1B. Won't happen but the above is probably the best defensive alignment
  13. He has an option. At this point when Springer comes back Rowdy is demoted to work things out in AAA. If not sooner.
  14. Your long, long wait is over.
  15. A Jansen breakout is imminent.
  16. Yes it is a balance. Remember Gurriel was eventually moved from SS to the OF. Moving Bo off SS will happen if he doesn't show improvement over the next several weeks.
  17. No I don't think so. Jays have too many other financial pressures coming up to sign one of those guys to a multi year. Simmons wouldn't get a multi year but he is hurt often and weak with the bat. If they buy anything FA, it will be pitching.
  18. Well it might, but these things are coincidence 90% of the time.
  19. Jays have some top 10 prospects playing SS that are expected to move off the position. Groshans, Orelvis, Martin, Hiraldo all have position questions and the general expectation is they will need to move off SS. It would be an easier decision to give him starts at 3B if there was a true SS prospect on the near horizon. As long as he is deemed fixable as a SS, and I think he is, it makes sense to keep starting him there. He'll make a few more errors than a Semien, but that's probably an OK tradeoff in the circumstances.
  20. Sent something for Hader but cancelled it. Too damn hard to give up a top 25 prospect for a reliever, even one named Hader.
  21. Musgrove hasn't given up a walk in 15 innings so far this year. Just 5 walks in his last 40 innings dating back to last Sept.
  22. Damn. I was thinking he was from the same school as Buntoya, and wanted to save Vogt and Perdomo for later innings.
  23. One of my office staff got COVID last November. Still having significant health issues. She's 43.
  24. No mention of the Musgrove no-hitter? Strange how Pirate pitchers turn into studs after they leave Pitt.
