  1. One of the better bunters, I believe.
  2. Bellinger said he does not have full range of movement in the shoulder. I assume medical staff have said playing will not make it worse. Maybe all it will take is a full offseason of physical therapy, stretching, etc.
  3. The ones that enjoy insulting and harassing other posters are the ones not liking the change. BJMB is better for it.
  4. Not every shoulder injury is the same. He will likely get some further procedure done in the offseason.
  5. Attention whoring clearly pays.
  6. The question though is whether he is a good FA target. What he gets offered will likely have some regression baked in, but I still think what he ends up getting this offseason will have bad signing written all over it. Just my opinion.
  7. As I said, yer dumn. And I'm not speaking of your baseball acumen.
  8. Not sure where you are getting your numbers from. Fangraphs has his 2021 HR/FB at 9.2%, after previous 5 seasons of 15.1%, 14.7%, 13.7%, 14.8%, 15.4%. You agree he will regress, the only difference of opinion is the scale. Seems I am expecting him to regress more than you, that's all. Not sure how that is a "moronic take".
  9. This is like Stieb in the 80's, 2 hit shutout into the 8th and no win. Again and again.
  10. JFC can we punt Grichuk into the sun
  11. BABIP against and HR/FB a fair bit below his career average. I'll go with it more being luck than skill change.
  12. 2 HR for Keibert Ruiz yesterday 2 HR for Ruiz today 21 HR in 300 AAA PA, 11% K rate
  13. >50% chance Gausman goes back to being mediocre. He was palatable at last year's price, but for what he will command this year, it's concerning. Who are the buy lows is the better Q.
  14. There were opinions on both sides, approaching the deadline. If they Jays had taken the other route and moved Semien and Ray, it would not have been well received by most fans, but fans have short memories.
  15. b = baseball reference f - fangraphs fWAR is fangraphs Normally getting huge break outs like Vlad, Semien, and Ray puts a team in the playoffs, Dumtoya and stupid BP management has negated this huge advantage.
  16. Reports I have seen say Cabrera has better stuff than Sixto.
  17. I'm a patient guy. He'll get it together at some point.
  18. You sure are having a good week, *******. Killed off my playoff hopes.
  19. Dumtoyo has lost at least 5 games this year all on his own.
  20. I do. Said it long ago, Dumtoyo manages using his gut feels. He's going to get outmanaged every damn game.
  21. Things have been changing. A lot of Amish/Mennonite have phones now. And not the rotary ones, either.
  22. Some J-Rod news for you prospect porn lovers. Latest News Aug 20, 2:01 PM EDT EDT Rodriguez went 5-for-8 with a homer for Double-A Arkansas in Thursday's doubleheader against Frisco. Analysis Since returning from a strong showing at the Olympics, Rodriguez has gone 8-for-19 (.421) across five games. With a composite line of .323/.414/.565 across 47 total games in High-A and Double-A this year, the 20-year-old Dominican has cemented himself as one of the top prospects -- if not the single top prospect (now that Wander Franco is in the big leagues) -- in baseball, and as long as he stays healthy, he's a near lock to make his debut with the Mariners next season.
  23. Now you are grossly exaggerating.
