  1. Great lineup but: 1. The accomplished vetrin Chapman should be ahead of that young guy Kirk (flip them in the lineup). 2. Biggio's arm is more suited for LF, Hernandez RF and Biggio LF better. 3. Flip Bichette and Hernandez. Quibbling, really. Plus ST they don't care about lineup optimization.
  2. Anyone want to make a big deal just before the season and deflate your competitors, Berrios is available for the right deal
  3. They won't do that, I'm their favourite memory.
  4. Espinal is clearly jacked. Eye test doesn't lie
  5. the voice in my head
  6. He'll play in order of frequency 2B, 3B, SS, LF, maybe even RF a few times
  7. c'mon man, there are 9 positions on the field and Espinal can play 4 or 5 of them. If he's hitting, he'll get his reps
  8. 12 games in CF at AA, according to Fangraphs
  9. Yes, could be good. He's always had a great plate approach, the knock on him has always been lack of power, if that's been taken care of...... I bet he can play CF, no problem
  10. Hicks cut off 15 lbs in the offseason said the other day he thinks he can 30 / 30 how long before he gets hurt is the real question
  11. All in good fun
  12. bloody negative nancy
  13. Devo took horrible routes from time to time
  14. Espinal! Gonna be our Zobrist
  15. It's spring training Gruber, guys like Teo aren't going 100%. No one wants to get injured in games that don't matter.
  16. DFA him now!
  17. We find out on Friday if Tiger is playing in the Master's.
  18. https://watch.sportsnet.ca/watch/FREE_ON_SN_NOW_Toronto_New_York_75572
  19. supposed to be on Sportsnet
  20. Seiya Suzuki finally connects for a hit, in his 9th ST AB. Home run to center.
  21. Meh, as someone mentioned, what is the damage? Even if the court finds malice, what is the damage from a few tweets? If the tweets were not sent, Bauer would be in the exact same position.
  22. The deal was in no small part to avoid an unhappy Grichuk sitting on the bench
  23. A little tidbit from Longenhagen Speaking of the Rockies, the little second baseman who they traded to Toronto as part of the Randal Grichuk deal, Adrian Pinto, has been added to the Blue Jays list. Scouts had a narrow window in which to scout him here in Arizona before the deal, but he made enough of an impression to prompt some unsolicited texts from scouts covering the Rockies who noted he was missing from their org list. Much more on him here, or over on The Board.
  24. Fowler is a negative defender so surely this signing is not CF depth. In season there are always speedy s***** hit CF available from somewhere.
  25. If he wants back to playing baseball, he should just lie low and let this thing die down. MLB doesn't want to be associated with violence to women, alleged or otherwise. It's roughly half it's prospective fan base.
