    You aren't understanding me, when I say racial undertones it means it is not overtly racist, and may not be perceived as racist by many, but will be by some. Perception can get you fired from your job.

    Not everything. The killings in Buffalo, yes. JD's derogatory comments to a black person, Anderson, related to his comparison of himself to the first black MLB player, has racial undertones, yes.

    Let's be fair to Zimmer, he's not been good in very limited playing time so far, 43 at bats. But his bat historically is a 80-90 wRC+ bat. In other words, considering his defense, offense, and speed he can be reasonably compared to Kevin Pillar. And Pillar was about as ideal a 4th OF as it gets.

    Not sure the Nats would even want Moreno. Ruiz has a .344 OBP, looking like a stud on both sides. Pearson, Tiedeman, Orelvis, Bo is probably what it would take.
