    Ceddanne Rafaela, a Red Sox prospect, stole 7 bases in an AA game today. Most SB in a MLB game is 7, by Billy Hamilton, in 1894.

    I think historically teams in the same city (LA, NY, Chicago) were in different leagues for the chance they would meet each other in the WS, among other financial considerations. The distribution of the teams into leagues and divisions is not based on geography, but maximizing revenue.

    March 1, 2023 update has them at #10 BA keeps prospects on their list until they exhaust rookie eligibility, being under 130 at-bats, under 50 innings pitched, and have less than 45 days on the active roster. This does skew the rankings to some degree, but the skew applies to all teams.
