Why not send him to Buffalo to start the year if this was why they sent him down? First they moved him off CF, then they sent him down. Pillar can't hit RHP and is now playing every day. They're hurting their own chances of success, but it's their bed to lie on.

Should the Red Sox have kept Lackey and given in to Lester or are they better off going after Hamels? They'll probably go on a tear soon, starting against Dickey, and all this will be moot since they're such a deep organization.
