Cecil walked Davis and Reimold with 1 out then Hardy hit a grounder up the middle that Reyes didn't make much an attempt to go for. Not sure he could've gotten to it as it was right up the middle, but since didn't make much of an effort, many think it should've been an inning-ending DP.
Cecil made a gesture on the mound suggesting he was surprised it got through.
As far as the grounder that Reyes didn't seem to even see, I think the same happened to Goins where he got a late jump on a grounder and that probably was enough for it to get through him. I think it was with Hendriks pitching.
Right priority. However, remember, leading up to the off season, we were all expecting him to go all out on relievers since he said publicly that he thought the bullpen cost them the season in 2014.
Basically, he's full of shitvlaki.
I'm fine with this option. Or they should've gone over budget in the off season to help the pitching staff. If they trade the guys close to the majors, they'll set the franchise back once again.
Edit: I'd be ok if they were getting a young stud with years of control, but that's wishful thinkin'.
As tough as it is to lose the last 2 games, the last thing I want to see is AA make another Esmil Rogers/Marlins/Dickey trade.
I really have seen him give away enough assets for pitching where I can say he's not very good at it.
