    Well thats also because managers still think inside the box and will use their best pitchers exclusively for for the 8th or 9th inning. In a 5-4 game with 1 out and 2 runners on I'd always have my best reliever coming in, even if it just the 6th inning.

    If the your opponent actually set his lineup, you would have lost assists, hits and blocks instead, won 6-4 rather than the 7-1 blowout and only been 2.5 games ahead of me with you playing the juggernaut.

    A good bounce back week and I only win 7-5.. Im gonna end up in f***ing ninth place. Love how the Catass had the balls to call me out for not streaming trash pitchers last year and then doesnt even set his lineups in a league he comishes

    I agree. Small sample size and all but the numbers were encouraging. Kept the ball inside the park, K/BB ratio close to 4, opponent wOBA .269, 610 OPS

    Well Estrada was pretty lights out as a reliever last year, I'd probably use him as the closer or in the most high leverage situations. Mostly just pointing out that losing our best relief pitcher has nothing to do with our front office being incompetent.

    Give Norris the 5th spot, Estrada to close, Sanchez/Loup/Lopez as the set up guys, problem solved.

    Not sure which quote is worse... A: Labeling someone who owns a career 1.054 OPS with runners in scoring position a choker B: Labeling someone selfish who refuses to go outside the zone and set his teammates up for a RBI situation C: Asking a premier hitter in the game to intentionally pop up the ball in the hopes it goes far enough to get the runner home. Im going to go with A since it took me under 15 seconds to verify that Votto has been a better hitter in his career with runners on base

    Casey's the ultimate troll. James Johnson is a better defender, rebounder,, plays with more effort and is a better overall offensive player than Ross..yet plays less minutes
