  1. an 8th year player becoming michael Jordan over night. I think we've all said at some point that he's a very likeable guy. Good for him, the hardwork paid off
  2. Lol this guy was one of many that would start threads based off of general thoughts on the old forum. He doesn't actually read the forum, just starts threads to have people read his junk
  3. Edwin coming back, signing Reddick and getting two picks from Bautista would be a dream off season
  4. It doesn't really matter how old a player is when it's a rental. Colon isn't great but he's a solid bet for a team desperate for pitching. Beltran got a big pretty big haul last year and he's really nothing special at this stage in his career
  5. They could probably get a nice prospect for Colon at the deadline
  6. Why not both??
  7. What would you feel comfortable giving him though? 4/70? IMO he's a pretty good bet to provide more value than Bautista over the next 3 years
  8. I turned on the game and he failed miserably trying to cut off westbrook on the baseline 30 feet away for the basket, sent him to the line and then didnt even try to box out Adams on the ensuing free throw attempt. He does a lot of things right and a lot of things still really wrong.
  9. And Westbrook takes a 30 foot three with 14 seconds left on the clock
  10. For a 4th year player Bebe makes so many rookie mistakes
  11. Im pretty sure 90%of jays fan hate Pedoria. If we were stuck with Ryan Goins im sure the fanbase would be estatic if we got Pedoria
  12. Did anyone really say they would be unbeatable in the regular season? Even in the post season they still have to go through SA and the Cavs
  13. Jansen or Chapman would be pretty cool to have. Watching Miller and Allen dominate all post season might help. 4/60?
  14. The sixers are a joke lol What they did was embarrassing
  15. This is exactly it. Other star swing players continue to punk him, even in the regular season. Jimmy Butler, Paul Geogre, Boston has Crowder. Even with a top 2 seed, does anyone have faith right now DeRozan would carry us in the post season? Last year we got pretty lucky with favourable match ups. Very likable guy and every year I hope he makes us shut up..but he doesnt
  16. Great start but until he does it in the playoffs against the lock down defenders its kinda whatever
  17. I'd support CSJ No idea who Spats is
  18. Victor got 4/68, I can't see why a team desperate for a big bat wouldn't offer him 4/60 or 3/50.
  19. Don't you bet on the indians literally every year? They must have had 25-1 or better odds to win at the start of the year
  20. You know this is like the NBA thread right?
  21. Something something spacing.. At least he's playing the 2 rooks quality minutes fo far, that's a positive sign
  22. Exactly..let Lackey embarras himself. No one would have faulted the ump for tossing him but he didnt need to.
  23. The ump realized the game wasnt about him and just sucked it up.
  24. Maybe I wasnt clear in that im assuming the Reds wouldnt eat Votto's contract and still would want a good asset like Pillar in return, which I wouldnt do. This front office seems solid enough that we don't need to give up good mlb assets for the privilege to take on massive contracts.
  25. I can't really see Votto blocking a trade here. Home country, legit WS contender, etc. I'd love to have him here like most but the Reds wouldn't trade the face of their franchise for salary relief. Stroman, Travis or Pillar are likely the asking price and it obviously makes no sense for us to meet those demands.
