A lot of people are into it for the drama aspect of it. I know a couple of teachers and accountants who watch it personally but they may be the outliers, dunno. It's basically the soap opera version for dudes. -

Even if the clock did start early, how is Ross supposed to be aware of that. He turns and see's over 2 seconds left on the clock, takes his time and releases clearly before the buzzer goes off... I'm surprised no one even brought up the fact that this was a f***ing AWAY GAME.

Even if you go off of ERA though..he was dominant 3 years in a row and pitched in some very high leverage situations in during the first post season run in 2015 His ERA wasnt even above 4 in 2016 despite giving up a very unsual amount of homers..yet people speak about him like he's Frank Francisco

Probably. The bullpen did cost them a lot more games than it should have last year as well early on. Can't really see that repeating with Grili coming back

Im not going to look them up again but he never struck out and hit a truckload of singles.

Pearce, Reddick and two solid relievers can probably put this team into the 85-86 win range. That would be a good number to at least strive for wild card contention

Even if he came free Bruce still seems bleh. Reddick seems like the best value on the market for whatever reason.

He's had 3 500 AB seasons with the M's and a couple of 300+ Ab's with us. He's sucked for 5 seasons now. He has a combined war of 0.3 in 824 games.. Just send him down a black hole already
