    Most fun I've had at a game all year last night. You can enjoy the game so much more when you don't care who wins anymore and just enjoy tthe game. Also makes watching Emilio less painful, yet still funny. Crowd was pretty good and stayed till the end it seemed.

    I stopped reading after about 10 posts..everything is "WE WON A WS..HA HA YOU GUYS ARE IN LAST". My personal favourite is the dumbass who uses Colby's team standings and his order in the batting order ( yes you read that correctly) to dismiss him as a good player. BTS is trying to point out real numbers like DIPS and WS value, while they repeat the same old look at the standings garbage. Why would anyone try to have a conversation with people who cant form a single rational thought.

    As much as that front office is excelling now, their last 2 WS were a bit of a fluke. Either team shouldnt have even made the playoffs to begin with..dont tell those nimrods that though

    One thing ive noticed is that he doesnt have those monster shots guys like Rasmus and Bautista have. He rarely hits the ball right on the noise and a lot of his homeruns seem to be him just muscling the ball out of our small park. Of course it could be just a bias I have and notice these things more so with him.

    There isnt one particular post to address on this, but ERA should be throw out the window when looking at Jays pitchers, even more so than usual. Notorious hitter's park with a circus show going on defense every night. Mark Buehrle could finish the season with an ERA of 5 and I wouldnt call it a bad year from him.

    For baseball, I 100% believe its true. So many baseball "experts" out there choose to remain ignorant to the plethora of info out there for evaluating players.

    Yes, a lot of the real fans could. We just don't have the "experience" or have been around the game to know "how it works". This is now 5 stages past the point of being a shitshow

    That lines up with what Peavy would probably cost, also something the Jays cant match unless they include Sanchez.

    He's a SS with elite defence, he doesnt have to hit well to still be a good player and would come cheaper than Profar, which is the whole point

    It should be the opposite. Even with his massive struggles this year with the bat, he's still going to come close to a 2 War season. His LD, GB, K and walk rate are pretty much the same as the last 2 years.

    He's a beast. If i had a player like Zimmerman to offer for him, I would have. Lester doesn't seem to be going back to the borderline number 1, great number 2 option he was.

    Boston has a lot of good young arms coming through the system. Webster, Barnes, Owens, 1 more guy who I cant remember right now. Also just drafted Trey Ball.
