He votes for McGriff all of the previous years, but suddenly says f*** him because other elite players are on the ballot as well (not that McGriff was elite). I also dont understand how him playing 1 more injury riddled year and hitting 7 more home runs would have put his career over the top

    There's a difference between challenging a mod/swearing excessively ( thats why I believe he did) and just being an idiot. At least thats my perspective behind it. I wouldnt have banned anyone but thats just my take on it.

    He wants to grow the board and doesn't want new members to feel like they would seem "inferior" upon signing up. There's a great ignore button on this board so Im not sure why people are constantly bitching about people not getting banned. I never have to deal with people like "Mohyou" expect when people are constantly quoting him.

    They don't thats the problem. I do part time security work at a commercial building in DT Toronto and the incompetence I witness every week by the lawyers/finance employees is pretty astonishing. Just last Saturday I saw a cooperate lawyer come with a loaded dolly and rather than use the automatic door, the idiot ATTEMPTED to use the revolving doors. Dumbass got stuck there for 15 minutes.

    It makes sense on individual cases, im with you on that. Im just saying that we cant simply write off every single free agent who isnt looking for a multiple year deal ( who Alex doesnt even sign regardless). At some point we have to question this front office's ability to "woo" players and convince them to sign here.

    That;s the common excuse nowadays but I dont buy it. In single case examples it could be used, but not for every decent free agent the past 3 years

    I read that it was agreed upon and then Dolan vetoed it before it was processed. Id like to get Hardaway plus a pick for Lowry, I think that's pretty fair. The Knicks are a pretty awfully run organization and that pick could easily turn into a top 5 pick even if its 4 years from now. Either way have an organization leak a deal and then vetoing it is pretty bush league. Huge distraction for the players invovled
