  1. I dont think anyone expecting them to be FA players next year, they'll have trade chips with 4 first rounders in the next 3 years and Val to move though
  2. Ive waited almost a week so far to make my 1st selection, and the guy I want is going to go right before me, i know it
  3. It looks precautionary as he's supposed to start prepping with his new club this weekend
  4. You dont have to pay MLB to view a boxscore off their site..
  5. There's zero chance a minor league guy is given a rotation spot over Happ
  6. Depending on how Val finishes this year, I may want them to just trade him and get a Vet C because so far, he's been pretty awful. Im not sure why people want to just wait 5 years for him to develop so we can then turn around and pay him FA money when he finally is a decent player. He's the one hole in our starting 5 and isn't improving.
  7. I dont think anyone really got raped in a trade with him, he just drafted really well and used those pieces to improve his team. The Fernandez deal was the only one I didnt understand.
  8. Its a top 10 off and def team, which not even the pacers are. In a way I actually don't mind that they have struggled closing out games vs the top teams so far as you can always learn more from failing than succeeding. 50 wins or 45 doesn't make really any difference in the end, if they don't make the second round the seasod should be seen as a failure
  9. There was some discussion a while back about hypothetical trade scenarios for Trout and they all involved the Cardinals. I just don't believe you should ever trade a 10 war player if he's still on the right side of 30, regardless of how much he will impact your payroll going forward.
  10. The Raps are both top 10 in OFF and DEF efficiency as of today and have a 3.7 net rating, good for 8th in the entire league. If only Casey had a clue what he was doing in crunch time
  11. The short answer is no..you don't trade the best young player of the past decade
  12. Turner 17 points on 15.5 shots, yea that isnt good. Not sure why they didnt just go get Aaron Afalio from the magic
  13. I dont mind him sticking with Hansbrough there just because he was outplaying Pat and Val the entire game, but I still cant understand why a DeRozan ISo is the best option when we have the best PG in the conference on the floor. At least use a pin down or double screen if you want to go DeRozan going to the net.
  14. Never met/heard anyone who speaks about what he tried to do so much.
  15. A players height has nothing to do at all with who should get the ball on final possession..thinking it should go to Ross is even more retarded.
  16. "If the right guy were to come along at the right price, we're definitely open-minded to the idea of adding one more starting pitcher." Waiting out the market..f***ing goon. He traded assests for overpriced free agent contracts and he's honestly commenting on waiting for good value for players..he more full of s*** than the boyfriend who comes home drunk, smelling of perfume and claiming he was just hanging out with his boys
  17. Maybe he will do the right thing and take down his banner on the level of excellence..the self appointed one.
  18. http://www.nba.com/dleague/news/nba_dleague_flopping_penalties_2014_02_19.html?ls=iref:nbahpts Love it. Actual penalties for flopping..fining the players doesnt help the opposing teams at all
  19. Yea I noticed that part afterwards. The sad part is that there are a lot of Toronto media members still spewing that kind of garbage for real
  20. ID rather have Stroman and Hutch start the year 6th and 7th on depth chart so we have quality depth coming up for the inevitable injuries. That may involve to much planing ahead though for this FO. Expect everything to line up and panic when it doesnt seems to be the MO around here.
  21. He didn't push in his chips the proper way though..as much as I love what Mark B did last year, trading significant assets for players on free agent contracts is the most illogical/retarded plan ever. Either throw money at free agents and if no one wants to sign here like he keeps claiming, tell Beeston to f*** off and build a team the proper way. Billy Beene and Friedman both manage teams in undesired markets, both in terms of financial resources they can give out and location wise, so AA and Beeston can f*** off with their excuses. Even if they luck their way this year to a 87 win team and nab one of the wildcare spots, I may still not care because all it would do is reward their incompetence
  22. We trade assets for Mark Buehrle and and injury prone JJ, both come with huge salaries and we cant pony up 4/50 for Jiminez.
  23. Dioner Navarro ladies and gentlemen..our big free agent signing.
  24. You can always trade DeRozan and Rondo brings much more to the table than just sucking in defenders and kicking. As constructed we're probably an average team right now if the conferences were balanced. Focusing on optimal fits is more important imo when you have conference finals in your sights. Though I just read the offer was Issaih Thomas, Ben and two first round picks.that's nuts.
