    4 straight 90 win seasons, 3 post season births, their payroll doesnt come close to ours. I really dont have to continue

    We're finally beating the rays for the first time in 5 years 60 games into the season! All it took was triple their payroll and selling our top prospects, but we did it!

    Yea theres a handful of teams I can think of where their system hasn't translated to a successful mlb team, ala the padres and dbacks as well. The NFL set up is just heads and shoulders above the NBA. No other league than the nba allows a franchise to become a dyntasy overnight based on the marker they play in

    There's nothing wrong with what the Astro's are doing, but I still wouldn't just automatically assume they're going to be really good soon. Building a good farm system isn't hard if that's what you dedicate your resources to. If you want to check out making a mockery of the sport, look at what a half a dozen of NBA franchises are doing every year

    It's also a pain in the ass for the tampa fans to get to a game, not sure if it's really reasonablly possible if you dont own a vehicle yet it's somehow deemed okay to bash their fans
