I just didnt agree that Dirk was an elite superstar in the league because he didnt excel at both ends on the floor the same way other stars like those guys I mentioned did.

He just doesn't dominate the game in every aspect the way James, Bryant, Durant, Duncan, KG does etc. He's the star player you want on the team, im not arguing that he isnt one of the best players of the game.

His DEF ratings are all good as well because of the teams he were on. Any one can tell you Dirk wasnt a good rebounder for his position or defender. When you look at the superstars of the league, they all excell from a OFF/DEF usually can rebound pretty good as well. I just dont see how you can put Dirk in the same class as a KG or Duncan

Theres more to basketball than just scoring. He asked for a team without an elite superstar, Dirk isnt a top 5 player in the league

In his prime, probably in the back end of the top 10. The teams he was on were all really well constructed to put the right pieces around him. As far as big men go, he wasnt in the same class as the Kevin Garnett's, Yao Mings, or Tim Duncans were

Not signing a player for Durant would be silly. He's on a great team and the OKC fanbase is terrific as well.

Granger would be pretty sweet and we would have a quality replacement in Ross in case of an injury. Probably a better fit than Deng as well with his outside shooting

There's Greg Monroe whom I like, but other than that there arent much bigs out there. Amir's a beast and he's by far my favourite athlete but he's taken a beaten physically. I wouldnt mind having him come off the bench and limiting him to 20 minutes a game
