  1. If you own any of these players and are interested, let's talk: Daulton Varsho Nolan Gorman Andres Gimenez Clint Frazier Jordan Groshans Xavier Edwards Keibert Ruiz Cristian Pache Keston Hiura Drew Waters Oneil Cruz Nick Madrigal Brendan McKay Ronny Mauricio Dan Vogelbach Austin Riley Michael Chavis Cavan Biggio Tirso Ornelas Garrett Hampson Kyle Tucker Jarred Kelenic Jonathan India Gregory Polanco
  2. Since I would've preferred a hitter in the Correa deal instead, would anyone be interested in Touki for a roughly-equivalent hitter?
  3. You might be right, but I think he'll be willing to accept a 1-year deal sooner than you think. At this rate, he's going to lose an entire season to sitting out and that would not bode well for any future long-term deal. Playing baseball is the best thing that he could do for his future.
  4. The Jays are almost .500 right now and the Red Sox and Yankees are off to miserable starts to their seasons. Vlad's debut is right around the corner, Biggio should be up soon, and Bo may debut in a couple months. Adding Keuchel makes sense for this team, as they've been hit with a plethora of injuries to the rotation. The hedge is that they can flip Keuchel for a couple of decent futures to supplement the rebuild if they're out of the race at the deadline. In that case, you could view this scenario as buying prospects. It makes all the sense.
  5. I would be beyond happy if the Jays signed him at those terms. It would make watching the Jays that much more enjoyable every fifth day and, at the very least, gives them a very sexy trade chip at the deadline if they're out of the race at that time.
  6. Keuchel might be willing to accept a one-year contract at this point.
  7. That's a productive day off. Well done. I did the PRs, so, uhhh, yep. Gonna hit up my home gym this afternoon, though. Would've been more motivating with a ball game on, but just music will have to suffice.
  8. Home on a Monday for the first time in a while and of course there are no afternoon games scheduled.
  9. Impressive. How much did it pay?
  10. Sure, but we can assume that it affected him negatively. But to what extent, we will never know.
  11. To Hurl: Jose Alvarado + MiLB #43 + MiLB #61 To P2F: Seth Beer + MiLB #7 Hurl to confirm.

I did not see that coming. Hertl with a shorty to win it in double OT to send it to Game 7.

It's such a delight to watch this guy play.
  14. What's gotten into Dom Nunez? Holy hell. https://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=sa737813&position=C + 3 bombs, a walk, and no strikeouts today.
  15. Someone give me a sexy piece for Jose Alvarado.
  16. Jose Leclerc is on the verge of imploding against Houston in the 9th. Four walks in the inning. Bases loaded, two outs. It's 11-10 for Texas. Leclerc is now being removed. Edit: Shawn Kelley struck out Robinson Chirinos to close it out. What a finish!
  17. Laureano seems like a shoo-in to win a Gold Glove this season.
  18. Aaron Sanchez has one whiff today. One. That is decidedly ineffective and entirely indicative of luck, given the score.
