Hey, if you want to live in a world where Columbus plays Colorado in the finals, that's your prerogative. I want to see the best teams square off - not a slew of mediocre teams that got hot at the right time. Agreed on the betting. Kicking myself now that I didn't place a few bucks on at least a couple of dogs. Ah well.

Lansing update: Kirk and Groshans continued their torrid assault on the Midwest League, while Otto Lopez had an uncharacteristically unproductive game - hey, it happens. Alejandro Kirk: 2-5, 2 R, BB, K Jordan Groshans: 2-5, 2 2B, R, 2 RBI, BB, K Otto Lopez: 0-6, RBI, 3 K Shoutouts to Reggie Pruitt and DJ Neal for doing stuff. Reggie Pruitt: 3-5, 2B, 2 R, BB DJ Neal: 2-5, 2 HR, 3 R, 2 K Also, in case you're late to the party, Joey Murray is an actual thing. Joey Murray: 6 2/3 IP, 4 H, 3 ER, 3 BB, 10 K, 98 P-64S That gives him a grand total of 29 K and 8 BB in 20 2/3 IP this season. I've read that he tops out at, like, 89-90 MPH, but he's highly deceptive - hitters have a hard time seeing the ball out of his hand. Invisi-ball for the win! Final note: Hagen Danner kept his perfect XBH season alive with a double today. He has 7 hits this season - 2 doubles, a triple, and 4 home runs. He's hitting a paltry .152.

I'll take it. Similar type of guy to Mancini that's enjoying a breakout season. Hopefully it's legit and hopefully Touki turns into the #2 type for you that he could be.
