I could afford to roster him for the past year since I wasn't competing anyway lol. It's just a spot start, but he looks great so far.

Daniel Hudson is making his first start in almost 3 years. He's only expected to throw 50-60 pitches, but so far he's looked nasty. 4 Ks through 2 IP. Sitting 94-95 MPH.

A lot of people on the board liked him at one time.

I was at that game last night. The atmosphere was absolutely electrifying! The crowd was deafening on the Gaudreau and Backlund goals, especially. And of course the Red Mile after the game was a treat as always. I love this city.

I'm pretty sure it was their lack of offense that did them in more than anything. Four 2-1 losses. Of course, it helps having any defenseman that can make that good first pass out of the zone...which they did not have, with Letang out.

I can't help but think that this was at least a small consideration when AA signed Martin. I'm not saying he wouldn't have done it regardless, but I'm sure it made his decision to offer Martin the big contract that little bit easier.
