Zadina is such a Red Wings pick. Edit: Yep.
  2. 7 and 8 here. Not old enough to really appreciate the moments, unfortunately.
  3. I just don't believe anything this team reports anymore, especially in regards to injuries.
  4. Mike Trout closing in on a .500 OBP for the season.
  5. Grichuk is on fire!

  7. Was already posted by Hurl in this thread.
  8. We really need to slaughter Lamb tonight. Come on, boys! Edit: Thought that was gone.
  9. Trout playing with a sprained finger.
  10. Lol. I'm just being realistic and tempering expectations out of the chute. You don't even think the podcast will work, so who's really the pessimist among us?
  11. We're probably gonna suck for the first little while, but hopefully, we'll get pretty good at it in time.
  12. I disagree. Buck and Pat are comfortably in the bottom half. Buck is a good colour commentator and Shulman is a fantastic play-by-play guy. Honestly, Shulman really helps Buck reel it in and focus on the game instead of blithering on with Pat about incoherent half-thoughts and fabricated narratives. Buck and Pat are awful, but Dan and Buck are really good.
  13. The two dudes on the Pirates broadcast were having a conversation about Zack Godley, referencing his high walk rate and ERA as reasons they can't understand how he's 7-5. Guy 1: "How is he 7-5 (laugh)? Run support at the right time, maybe?" Guy 2: "Yeah, has to be." They then go on to discuss pitcher wins, and this is the conversation that took place: Guy 1: "Some in baseball are dismissing them (wins), but isn't that what you want your starting pitcher to go out and do - win ball games?" Guy 2: "I'm stunned! It's ludicrous to say that wins aren't important for pitchers. My goodness! I mean, that's so...crazy. That's the world we live in. Why would you even want to pitch if wins weren't important?" Guy 1: "Yeah. What good is a pitcher, then - what good's a starting pitcher?" Holy f***. Pretty sure these guys are worse than Buck and Pat.
  14. Don't put any stock into MiLB Gameday pitch data. It's notoriously inaccurate.
  15. 4 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 5 K, 65 pitches-39 strikes, 7 groundouts-0 flyouts.
  16. Thanks so much for stepping up, Org!
  17. GCL, since 2006: Niko Goodrum in 2010 Didi Gregorius in 2008 Christian Vazquez in 2008 AZL, since 2006: Andy Yerzy(???) in 2016 Leury Garcia in 2008 Marwin Gonzalez in 2006 Minimum 50 PA was the cut-off I used. That's it.
  18. KKK through 3, six groundouts! Okay, I've delayed long enough. It's time...
  19. The mechanics sound superelite. No squeaks, cracks...nothing.
  20. Three quick groundouts for Pardinho that I heard with my own ears.
  21. http://www.milb.com/milb/multimedia/audio.jsp For anyone that wants to radio-scout the s*** out of Pardinho's start this eve.
  22. Delayed by rain at the moment. Hopefully, they get going. Edit: Nevermind. That was a quick delay.
  23. Anyone feel like making a trade? I'm BORED. Looking to improve my offense.
  24. I love your arbitrary rankings. If he's now 35th, then you admit your lists are a huge failure, right? That's a massive jump from 106th after such a horrible season.
  25. It doesn't seem that jays_fever cares about his last two picks, so I guess it's over.
