Well, sure, but it's literally no different than the majority of fans basing the results of their team's draft off of various industry mock drafts. The exercise above is really just an extension of that lol. Anyway, I posted this just to show that the Jays did really well relative to their peers. All of the teams above them had more draft picks to work with, which definitely skews the results. But yeah, I mean, it's kind of pointless. At the end of the day, only time and development will tell how the scouting department actually did here.

It makes no sense why they passed on Swaggerty. The decision could've been defended if they had agreed to a well-below underslot deal with Murray, but that didn't happen. With football in the mix, it would seem like Murray is significantly less likely to reach his ceiling than Swaggerty, which is, for all intents and purposes, about equal to Swaggerty's. LOL.
