AA's trade history was basically boom-or-bust.
Top 5 (in no order);
1. Donaldson
2. Wells
3. Travis
4. Escobar
5. Morrow
Bottom 5:
1. Dickey
2. Frank Francisco (for Napoli)
3. Rogers (for Gomes and Aviles)
4. Reyes
5. Halladay?
Hard to judge more recent trades, such as the Tulo and Price deals, but AA loved making the big trades. When they worked, they worked really well. When they didn't, they were bad or horrendous.
Edit: I wonder whether the Rasmus trade is considered a win, too. Sure, 2 of his 3 seasons weren't great, but he was a 5+ fWAR player in one of those seasons. The Jays didn't give up much of significance acquiring him, as well.
