  1. King, what have you done?
  2. lol, what post did you link to?
  3. Jen Mac Ramos triggers me so much. Radio silence from everyone who sources her as to why her bigotry is acceptable.
  4. Starting to get a bit excited about Kingery TBH
  5. The argument that seems to be gaining traction is that MLB should be investing in their development and scouting, and that the current system of disregarding women when it comes to developing young talent is a barrier preventing women from playing. And yeah, the comments are bad. I’m surprised I didn’t get downvoted into oblivion.
  6. Kazmir released by the Braves.
  7. At least they're freak injuries, and not arm/shoulder baseball issues likely to bother him long term.
  8. Pendleton Reminder that the ‘Owners’ tab of the sheet has this info if you ever need it
  9. Cyborg quit every league.
  10. I’m sure J4L19 has processed his own trade on the sheet. I’ll do the yahoo part now.
  11. The only Mexican fast food we have here is Mucho Burrito. It’s great hangover food.
  12. Never had Chipotle in my life.
  13. The closest thing I've seen to people saying "women shouldn't play" is that MLB teams shouldn't be forced to spend money scouting/developing women's leagues on the chance that the odd woman is good enough to be an MLB asset someday. Certainly any woman good enough to play MLB should be allowed to play. It would be a great story if it happened.
  14. She's a legitimately terrible person, both hateful and bigoted. The hypocrisy required for Meg Rowley, Managing Editor of HBT, to write an article about meanness in the community while at the same time employing someone like Ramos, is absolutely mind-blowing.
  15. You joke, but I've been wondering for awhile if he has 1-2 seasons of a 200+ wRC+ in him. He's only 26, and we could well see another gear offensively, if only for a short time.
  16. If you can find 3-4 useful arms behind your big 3, your pitching staff could be scary this year.
  17. Waiver period is over - we're in regular season mode now. Business as usual.
  18. As Bobthe4th pointed out, if there's no discernible difference between them, you answered you own question: Goins is easily replaced off the scrap heap at any time, and lost any value he had when his option years ran out. I prefer to have Espinosa though. Where Goins has no upside whatsoever, Espinosa has a history of being a productive major league player. They're the same age, and their career fWAR: Goins - 0.0 Espinosa = 10.3 If I have to give one of them 100 or 200 PA, I choose Espinosa.
  19. Potentially serious shoulder injury for Samardzija.
  20. Uh, ok. That doesn't mean that you should be citing people like this: While talking about how sexist baseball is as an institution.
  21. Holy f***, I just realized actual misandrist Jen Mac Ramos was cited in the original article. Her twitter is full of flat our hateful tweets about men. And FG wonders why certain people found that the article was accusatory.
  22. *two women The first article was written by a woman, and this follow-up was written by a different woman.
  23. Dearest Boxy, Here you go: https://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/on-caring-for-one-another/ Sincerely, Your old pal BTS
