    I agree with this. Pitchers and coaches have raved about Perez for years now. I'm inclined to think he's adding value in ways not really captured well by his defensive WAR. Game calling? Game planning? Being a calming presence? I dunno.

    Looks like Laika, Dinger and me have our divisions wrapped up. P2F has a 3.5 game lead over jaysblue in the Cheesesteak and a soft matchup this week. So there's one spot left for Org, Jim, EZe, and jaysblue, and only 3.5 games separate the four of them. Going to be a wild finish.

    I'll be satisfied if he's not immediately pulled from the rotation like Fleming was after I acquired him.

    Man all of those guys do. I don't think the game has ever had so many marketable young superstars.

    Wander Franco has an active 28-game on-base streak over which he's slashing 312/380/523 with a 152 wRC+, 8% walk rate, and 11% k-rate. He's going to join the Soto/Vlad/Acuna/Tatis tier next season.
