I mean more for conversation/discussion purposes than actually using the numbers for anything substantive. It's annoying when you're talking about a 3 WAR guy who had a 4% HR/FB. Minor pet peeve.

Not gonna lie, if I had an open spot I'd flip you a pick for him. His numbers are decent and the waiver wire is absolute trash.

That's who I was thinking. And his offense is absolutely good enough to outperform Dinger in a few categories in a given week.

He's good, but not unbeatable. A team with a deep pitching staff can take him down if their offense can win some cats.

I really wish FG would use xFIP in their WAR calculations rather than FIP. There's really no good reason for incorporating HR/FB luck and ignoring GB rate.
