  1. This list is meh, one major exclusion for me is that Matt Dean isn't on the top 20. Not as big a fan of Sickels as I was a few years ago.
  2. Derek Lowe never had issues with walking people though. Kyle Drabek also has a similar profile to Sanchez: GB pticher, very little SwStk% and trouble with walks. Exercise caution here.
  3. Even if Martin regress to his career slash line, I'm still inclined to him. He was still with New York when the Mike Fast article came out and when I started to seriously pay attention to catcher framing, and when I saw Yankees games, he was really good to my eyes anyway, and he was a Top 3 framer in 2012 (second best in the original article) I'm not expecting a rotation average of 3.5 FIP but man, I've grown to love noticing how he works behind the plate. Especially when I got to see him live in Pittsburgh last summer.
  4. If you're joking, this is a great troll post. If not, well may x deity have mercy on your soul
  5. And Kate Upton uses me once a week to cheat on Justin Verlander....
  6. According to RIPEXPOS, the Nats just acquired Rickey Henderson in this deal. Edit: I f***ing hate autocorrect
  7. Damn, for just this minor signing he's almost as pissed as I was when the Jays traded Syndergaard for Dickey lmao.
  8. Considering he turned down a GM role in Boston for a lot more money, I'm pretty sure he simply wants to stay in Oakland.
  9. Reminded me of this http://weknowmemes.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/2-out-of-10-would-not-bang.jpg
  10. I'm legitimately worried about Boston. They also have a lot more pieces to give if they want to improve more
  11. If he keeps doing this yes, but considering he hasn't had a season this good since 2009, and his DIPS has never been this good. #2 designation would be appropriate. Although a pitcher at the age of 31 and has never had a FIP under 3, I'm gonna remain skeptical.
  12. Lester is not a #1 starter.
  13. Yeah...by then, no one's gonna want Lester and his contract, if the Cubs flip him , probably cause they'll have to eat most of his salary
  14. I really don't understand why they hate us so much, not just the Jays, but the city in general, especially coming from a city that has the highest homicide rate in the USA. Is it really just cause of Cito? That s*** happened over 20 years ago, for the amount of flack you got for bringing up their s***** teams for the past decade or so, they sure seem to hold grudges that last a lot longer than that.
  15. This is utterly terrifying
  16. But if AA is still GM, then Duquette should have no impact on Bau or EE resigning.
  17. What TwistedLogic is saying, in the stupid reality of the baseball market, his asking price would be much higher than that, and some team would probably sign him at that asking price. Although you summed up my earlier post quite well here.
  18. I'd agree in conventional terms, but those are guys I'd trust to actually stay good for a while, even though they'd still cost too much, if they wanted a 4 year deal at 15 AAV. I'd jump at that. (Even though they'd never accept that)
  19. Not important enough to be giving out 4 year deals over 10 AAV to pitchers who'll pitchh at most 80 IP a season
  20. Whaddya think this is? A sportsnet comment section?
  21. Honestly, just pluck any guy off the waiver wire and have him pitch in the bullpen. I'd rather that than commit anything more than 3 years to a reliever not named Kimbrel, Chapman, or Jansen
  22. I'd bet you anything Grant watches their games on the radio
