    It cost them pennies on the dollar to give those things away and they more than make up for it when the stadium is packed like it will be today. To be quite honest, they probably should do this a few more times a year.

    Yes. If he pans out the cost and control would be significant for this team. We already have hutch, if stroman pans out we would have two solid young arms that are dirt cheap. It's too early to go all in, if this team is for real then they can cope for the next month. If not then it was all just a pipe dream anyways.

    Exactly. I would like to see this team get to 10 games over .500 as the first goal within the next week or two.

    They will have some big decisions to make this winter. Gose will slide into CF which will help and Pillar likely takes over as the fourth OF, but plenty still some big decisions to be made. Is Melky extended? Is Lind brought back now that Francisco is in the fold? Will 2B finally be addressed? Is Morrows option picked up? Does Janssen walk?

    If he accepts it, that would be great problem to have. If he doesn't we get the pick, although I'm more interested in seeing him traded.

    They better extend Melky, otherwise we're looking at an OF of Bautista, Gose, and Pillar. I have a feeling Melky is going to sign a team friendly extension.
