    He should hopefully get a chance to platoon with Gose next season in CF, at least I hope.

    Yeah I agree. Right now it looks really bad for the Rays considering Myers is now gone, granted they still have some very good arms in that rotation, but I'm not sure it's enough at this point to do anything more than maybe get back to .500 by seasons end. The Yankees rotation looks terrible outside Tanaka and their lineup isn't going to scare anyone anymore. I think they will start to fall back. The O's I think will hover around .500, while the Red Sox likely make a strong push.

    Oh I agree that they are no push over. They we're expect edit o win the division for good reason, I just don't think they will be able to be a serious threat for the division At this point.

    At this point, EE would command more than just Price. No such deal would ever happen, so it doesn't matter.

    They are 12 games under .500 and have a s*** offense. They would need to go on a huge run just to get to .500 by the ASG. I doubt they come back from this.

    Seitzer seems to be really getting through to these guys. His credibility must be through the roof after Bautista and Edwin bought into his approach.

    At least they face Felix. It will be a tough game for them and 4 games back is a pretty good cushion.

    Did you even look at the standings? Yes the Jays are 3.5 games ahead and if the Yankees lose they will be 4 games ahead.

    Yankees, Red Sox, and Rays all playing tonight. If the Yankees lose it will give the jays a nice 4 game lead. Hoping the Red Sox streak ends today as well, but iI will be happy if just the Yankees lose.

    In an ideal scenario, Francisco is better utilized off the bench as your primary LHH power bat, backup 3B, backup 1B, and occasional DH when guys need rest. The more I watch Lind hit, the more obvious it is that there is no chance in hell his option doesn't get picked up unless he has a disastrous second half. Which means Francisco either ends up sticking at 3B or moving to the bench where he provides great value.

    I'm fine with that platoon, I think it should be fairly decent, plus we always have one of them on the bench as a defensive replacement when needed. I just hope Melky is brought back.

    Viewership is relevant if you are trying to gauge actual fan interest, especially in the hope of a new stadium.

    That's true. It really comes down to a combination of gate sales and TV viewership. Wonder how much viewership the Rays actually get?

    For a family to go to a game, it can be a nightmare if you don't already live in the city.
