TELLING to whom? Everyone will interpret things differently, thus forming their own opinions and essentially judging the team based on those opinions. You apparently look at players faces to assess the team. I on the other hand wait until a reasonable sample size has accumulated before jumping to conclusions.

This is absurd. Anyone who judges a baseball team based on the first 10 games is lost. They play 162 games for a reason, because it takes that long for things to really even out. Anyone who has watched baseball for as long as some people here claim would understand that better than the average fan.

It's the first road trip of a 162 game season. There will be nothing telling about this series. All you can hope is that they win at least 5/9. In a sport where winning only 55% of the time gets you into a playoff race, you can't make too much of any short stretch.

Morrow is just filthy right now. This is nice to see.

As soon as Janssen comes back I would send down Walden, which is an obvious move. For Reyes I would send down Goins and keep Diaz in the mix. As for Happ, not much we can do other than wait until someone hits the DL to activate him. I would also look to send down Thole for A power bat like Johnson and also swap Sierra for Gose. I would also consider bringing up Kawasaki over Diaz if he struggles.

At least Kawaski has proven that he can be a decent stopgap at the big league level. Why he is down and two unproven guys who both look like inferior hitters are up is beyond me. Even if they wanted to go all D, Kawaski isn't a terrible defender either. Call up Kawaski, Gose, and Johnson. Send Down Goins, Thole and Sierra. We upgrade the D significantly by swapping Gose for Sierra, Kawaski is a better option that Goins and Johnson gives us a power bat off the bench and rids us of what should be our third catching option.

Thus far Diaz looks like the much better option. Both Goins and Sierra should be sent down.

He clearly knew people and had connections, his info was just wrong most of the time. Can't fault him for that, he was just trying to be a nice guy and share it with the board. He didn't have to do that. Class act all the way.

Yup. I didn't know him that well but I did play in a fantasy league with him and he was always a class act. He will surely be missed.

Horrible news. Kirk was a great guy. Always nice to everyone and even those who constantly bashed him on this board. A lot can be said about a man like that. He Passed on way too young and will surely be missed. RIP.
