Honestly, he is exactly the type of bat we needed off our bench and while his D leaves much to be desired he can cover 3B and 1B when needed as well as obviously DH. The problem right now is that we have 3 catchers on the roster. That needs to come down to two and then bring Gose back up as the primary OF backup, pinch runner, etc. A bench of Francisco, Gose, Kratz and Kawasaki is the way I would go when everyone is healthy. We cover all positions on the field, have two power bats and a SB threat. It gives us 3 lefties vs. only one righty, but I can live with that for the time being.
