    I wouldn't mind Sidall sitting in see how that goes. I think he did some games last year but I can't remember if it was with Shulman or like a rotation of guys. I don't think they have to go full advanced stats to make it better.

    I think if I did the math correctly that leaves $454,000 for Nick Frasso if they go to the limit with the 5% overage allotment. Slot value for Pick 106 is $549,000.

    Expansion is inevitable but still not happening any time soon.

    It was suppose to be implemented into the Florida State League this year but obviously no season this year. Here's an article on how it went with Atlantic League, essentially it still needs work but it's promising.

    From what I read on Mayo he needs a lot of development time to tap into his tools but the pay off could be big. He is very typical O's kind of hitter, big body with lots of Pop and strikeout potential. I think the Orioles did fine, Kjerstad is a good player.

    No thanks man, I don't want a moron like Puig around these kids trying to be the "veteran leader". There's a lot of optimism around the team right now but they are still building, let one of 5-6 fringe OFers we have try to breakout. It's probably not going to be pretty but I'll take it over Puig for 60 games. The fact that nobody has signed him despite a pretty productive career is pretty telling. He's just not worth the headaches.

    Damn you would think a guy who is barely holding onto a MLB career at 34 would at least try to stay in shape.

    That is surprisingly low considering most of them were in Florida, Texas, Arizona and California.

    I noticed that too. I was looking for some of his draft night tweets and they are gone. We'll see how accurate his info is here, it's not like the info can be widely different from $6.9MM to $7.2MM.
