  1. This is insane MLB can f*** right off
  2. You have some credit on here. But you've now used it up with these last few threads you've started.
  3. Oh come on. That's insane re Sanchez. FYSMC MLB.
  4. Did anyone smart really expect the Red Sox to winnthe division with that starting rotation?
  5. Has any team (other than maybe the Jays LOL) underperformed more compared to expectations than the Nats? If they fail to make the post season this year it will get ugly over there.
  6. And yes I'm all for skipping a Hutch start to have Price and Dickey going every 5 days.
  7. Wild card game is Oct. 6. Let's win the division. He seriously rocked on 5 days rest. Talked about it as the reason for his increased velocity in the post game interview.
  8. Phil Hughes for game 2. Hehehe. MLB.com write-up suggests that his tendency to give up the long ball "could be a problem" against this Blue Jays lineup
  9. Then sign a team friendly extension MF (I know, fat chance)
  10. Yes. We already knew this. But I was fairly certain someone would make either a "David Price is a stud" thread or a "can David Price stick" thread. One or the other seemed inevitable.
  11. We are a better team now than they are now. I think that's undisputable. But we spotted them a 6 game head start. Will be interesting to see. We certainly need them to start losing some games in bunches and/or beat them head to head a lot. I am optimistic though and pretty excited. I am not going to let past season failures color me either. This is a very different team than we've had the last 3 years.
  12. Or someone from any Mexican-speaking county, really
  13. Dammit So much stranding of the baseruners
  14. It would probably be as good as the 1993 team overall. Insanely good. (Maybe better. Ryan Goins = Manny Lee)
  15. I did go 3-1 too, with 2 wins vs KC. Not bad...
  16. Cause Edwin? I dunno. I hate him not playing today.
  17. And playing the best team in the American League today
  18. Also, Tulo not playing today ? something to do with it
  19. Yordano Ventura ® vs Mark Buehrle (L) Saturday, Aug 1 1:07 PM ET Gametime Forecast: 76°F • Clear • 4% PoP Lineups Blue Jays: 1. Revere LF 2. Donaldson 3B 3. Bautista RF 4. Encarnacion DH 5. Ventura is coming off one of his best starts of the season in a win over Houston, tossing seven innings and allowing one run on six hits with no walks and five strikeouts. Buehrle got a no-decision in his last outing against Seattle, as he gave up 10 hits and three runs in 5 2/3 innings. Buehrle had a streak of nine consecutive starts of going at least six innings and giving up two or fewer runs snapped. Three things to know about this game • Right-hander Mark Lowe and left fielder Ben Revere are expected to make their Blue Jays debuts on Saturday afternoon. Both players were acquired in the hours leading up to Friday's non-waiver Trade Deadline. Lowe will settle into a setup role alongside LaTroy Hawkins and Brett Cecil, while Revere is expected to get most of the playing time in left field. • Eric Hosmer has a 13-game hitting streak for the Royals. This is his third hitting streak of 12 games or longer. His career long was 16 in 2014. • Royals right-hander Chris Young is officially back in the bullpen, even though his ERA of 3.25 is second among starters (Edinson Volquez has a 3.21 ERA). Manager Ned Yost has decided to keep Jeremy Guthrie (5.65 ERA) as his starter.
