  1. Yeah we need Estrada and Happ to settle in
  2. *supposed to be* but... TSN: Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Steve Pearce moved up to Triple-A on Tuesday in his rehab from a calf injury, but his woes at the plate continued. Pearce, who got the start in left field, went 1-for-4 at the plate on Tuesday with a single and two strikeouts as the Buffalo Bisons lost 9-7. He was replaced by pinch hitter Jake Elmore in the eighth inning. Pearce went hitless in 15 at-bats with the Double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats with one walk and three strikeouts before being moved up to Buffalo. Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said Tuesday Pearce is expected to join the team for their weekend series against the Chicago White Sox.

  13. Matt Harvey is sooooo broken... Edit: Oh, and so are the Mets. Holy crap...
  14. By Joe Trezza / MLB.com Harvey, Walker to be out several weeks (plus Syndergaard update) Matt Harvey was diagnosed with a stress injury in his right shoulder and Neil Walker was diagnosed with a left hamstring tear on Thursday. Both will miss several weeks, the Mets said. Harvey left Wednesday's 9-4 win over the Cubs after just four innings with what the club called "arm fatigue." Harvey's velocity was noticeably down throughout the start. The right-hander is 4-3 with a 5.25 ERA in 13 starts this season, his first after undergoing thoracic outlet syndrome during the offseason. He received an MRI and a CT scan Thursday at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan. "It's not a fracture, it's not a bruise," Mets general manager Sandy Alderson said of the injury. "The bone can inflame. It's sort of in that niche, between fracture and bruise." Walker pulled up lame and collapsed near first base trying to leg out a bunt on Wednesday, holding his hamstring. The second baseman has been one of New York's most productive hitters of late, batting .319 with seven home runs and 23 RBIs since May 1 . Alderson also said the club doesn't expect Noah Syndergaard to begin throwing for "at least four weeks." Syndergaard hasn't pitched since April 30 because of a partially torn right lat.

  21. Joel Sherman: #Mets announce Asdrubal Cabrera to DL with left thumb strain, T.J. Rivera recalled. #Mets still resist call-up of top prospect Amed Rosario. Reyes will probably play SS near every G, perhaps last chance to save roster spot
