  1. I like it. Saturday 4 PM seems like a good idea. Saturday game times are changing Fans can now start their Saturday nights out with the Blue Jays™ Nine games beginning at 4:07 p.m. Still options for young families with four games remaining at 1:07 p.m. Jr. Jays™ Saturdays are now Jr. Jays Sundays! Families will experience same number of Jr. Jays days (13) as in 2017 For the first time ever, will also include three Jr. Jays Weekends! All Sunday game times remain at 1:07 p.m.
  2. Schedule: https://www.mlb.com/bluejays/schedule/2018-03 Changes: http://m.mlb.com/tor/tickets/info/key-schedule-changes Early start - Jays open March 29 @ home vs the Yankees
  3. I just looked it up http://www.spotrac.com/mlb/toronto-blue-jays/justin-smoak-6967/ 4.125M next year The 2019 option can be anywhere from 6 to 8M depending on how many plate appearances he gets between now and then. The buyout is super cheap 250k Obviously we're all loving that deal in hindsight LOL. No way you gamble on a further extension now. He could easily regress next year.
  4. Oh, and they've done it without Andrew Miller
  5. Starting pitching is crazy good ERA 1.94 over this stretch In 18 games, there was exactly ONE in which the SP didn't put up a quality start
  6. Trade deadline 2018
  7. Does anyone really want to trade Osuna? He's only 22 years old; he'll still be young when the youth movement hits in 2019/2020
  8. I don't think they ever did with Beeston and AA so I can't see them doing it now
  9. Oh, and Devon Travis Sometimes I forget he's on the team actually (He may be a write off at this point I suppose)
  10. Trading Donaldson and aiming for 2019 seems more realistic than trying to be good next year It has taken me several months to accept this The only alternative is to spend big in free agency because we can't afford to trade the top prospects at this point. Amd. I can't see them signing any of the big names this off season We would have to keep Donaldson, sign a legit corner OF and a SP2 caliber guy to realistically keep in it next year IYAM. And even then we'd need way better health from key guys like Sanchez and Martin
  11. Arizona 11 wins in a row Cleveland 12 wins in row F'n impressive
  12. Pffft Too f'n bad
  13. Wait till Miggy ends up somewhere else
  14. Tigers finally tearing it down
  15. Wow, Angels going for it
  16. Agree, this could have easily been a wild card team this year with some better luck in terms of health But with an aging core of Donaldson, Tulo, Martin, Morales and Bautista it dosn't look great for 2018 when the Red Sox and Yankees have a young progressing core The FO is in an uncomfortable spot this off season Only Sanchez, Stroman, Osuna, Travis and maybe Pillar look like players who will still be young-ish and above average by the time Vlad and Bo get here and hopefully stick. Donaldson may or may not decline significantly before that and Martin/Tulo obviously aren't likely to hold up well.
  17. Yeah No slight re tooling is going to make this team a serious contender in 2018
  18. What team with money would be willing to trade for him and maybe pre-sign an extension? We won't get as much if he's just being obtained for 1 year at 22M+ which he'll probably get in arb-3.
