    Which is worse 1. Paying to get rid of the best third baseman in baseball then giving big $ to Bryant right after. 2. Being unable to manage even a 500 season while having the best player in the world and the best two way player in history (the latter of which you pay very little money to)

    Yeah. We can possibly manage the regular season with the starters we have. In playoffs we would really mostly use Manoah Gausman Berrios In a 3 game WC series that's all you use, maybe with Stripling on speed dial if Berrios doesn't look right early. In a 7 game series your probably use Stripling exactly once I feel more strongly about acquiring a high leverage BP arm or two than a SP unless it's a low cost rental

    Pirates would prob want a healthier prospect (or a healthier prospect plus Pearson as a lottery ticket) At this point I'm sure we're better off just keeping Pearson and see what happens

    I do hope he returns to something in between his rookie season/this season and soon. He seems too talented to not figure it out offensively.

    Holy crap. I just looked it up and don’t like what I see AT ALL. Bo’s on base percentage, batting average, slugging percentage, and OPS+ has gone down every single year of his 4 year career (noting only short MLB stints his first two years) It's not just a bad half season... This is LEGIT worrisome from a player we have been counting on being a perennial middle of the order bat. Is he maybe actually not that???
