  1. At this point I'm going to have to be fine with: Taking a couple of flyers on 1 year guys for COF/DH Trade for a solid bat at 3B/2B Sign a depth starter Give the young IF prospects a chance to make the team out of ST Roll the dice and hope the pitching holds up Trade for a bat at the deadline if you're not getting what you need offensively Not what I wanted starting the offseason but what more can we do?
  2. All in on Bregman next year if we don't find a long term 3B solution before then?
  3. So Dodgers payroll is going to be ridiculous again
  4. Rays doing Rays things They were never going to pay Glasgow his 25M for 2024, somebody else was going to And Margo is getting 10M So 35M salary gone for league minimum guys sounds about right
  5. Are the Padres going to tear it down though? Or just trade away the short term pieces.
  6. Bench Schneider, Jansen, Biggio and one more OF
  7. It's where ex Jays left handed bats go
  8. Me too Even though it would pretty much guarantee that Tiedeman becomes the next David Price
  9. No one will take the Giants massive money offers lately
  10. I'd shop him and would consider if you could get a good controllable position player for him for 3B or COF. Green and Mayza could close games
  11. In division? When he's good and still cheap AF? Yeah I suppose the actually would...
  12. Yeah For all the negativity (and I get that) the team has: An excellent starting rotation even if Manoah still sucks, and a ridiculously good one if he or Tiedeman steps up The best bullpen this team has had in eons A decent offense that should improve simply by some regression from Kirk/Varsho/Vladdy/Springer and with room for upgrades at 3B/COF They're not giving up on this core...
  13. Why would Tampa trade him?
  14. Good. Because we all know Jansen and Kirk will almost certainly both miss some time.
  15. Things I didn't know until just now Ohtani was working on similar structure with other teams in his negotiations with them. Jays included. Ohtani makes 40-50M a year in endorsements right now so he doesn't have to scrape by on a measly 2M a year
  16. Yes And at the end of day it's simply a matter of like the player but don't want that contract
  17. Does t much matter is the Mets wants him as bad as everyone assumes
  18. OK Twitter is reading my mind
  19. Yeah Betts could probably change positions easily and hit forever Corrra will get hurt
  20. OK motherf***ers Time to sack up and trade for Mike Trout and convince him to play LF from now on
