    We just don't have a natural sort of #2 hitter so someone moves up there and it won't be Vladdy cause he kikes hitting 3rd.

    At this point I'm happy if they resigned Bichette, or signed Bregman, or traded for Marte. Any one of those and I'm fine if they leave it at that. I'm probably okay if they wait until the trade deadline to see how the bullpen is working out.

    The Angels and Anthony Rendon have agreed to a restructured version of his contract that will defer the $38MM he is still owed for the next three to five seasons, reports Sam Blum of The Athletic. Rendon will not return to the team. His tenure with the Angels is over.

    Top 4 starters: Gausman, Cease, Yesavage, Bieber. I'd say Berrios and Ponce are in the running for 5th starter. Lauer is the main swingman? One of those 3 will not start if they're all still here opening day.

    I also don't imagine they want him to opt in and get paid 24M as a reliever So hopefully he either: A) gets traded this off season B) sorts his arm out and pitches well enough to work as a starter and either stays on or builds his trade value for later

    I didn't realize until I heard it on the radio last week that Berrios left the team and went home during the World Series because he wasn't on the roster.

    I'm going to miss Springer so much when he's gone. I know the Jays didn't draft him and he hasn't been on the team quite as long as Vladdy and Bo. But he feels like as much the heart and soul of the team as they do.
