  1. Heck yeah He and Schlittler will likely duke it out for years
  2. Angels Outright Alek Manoah By Darragh McDonald | at May 20, 2026 5:55pm CDT The Angels announced that right-hander Alek Manoah has been outrighted to Triple-A Salt Lake. There wasn’t any announcement about him being designated for assignment but it appears the Halos quietly put him on waivers and he cleared. The club’s 40-man roster count drops to 39

Wemby is just unbelievable And 22 years old?!?!
  5. Yankee have been worse than is over the last 10 games Let's keep that trend going
  6. Agree all around I'm worried about Springer. He just might be in full decline/injured beyond good recovery for the season. OTOH I'm more annoyed with Vladdy than I am worried about him because I know he's so much better than this...
  7. Can't watch Is the game starting on time or no?
  8. Jays are 2-8 in one run games this season And I think the offense is to blame more often than the pitching Drives me crazy to think about how many times a single timely hit could have resulted in a win and the record could be much better
  9. Jose Berrios To Undergo Elbow Surgery May 16th, 2026 at 10:44am CST • By Mark Polishuk Jose Berrios will undergo surgery on Wednesday to repair a stress fracture in his right elbow, as Blue Jays manager John Schneider told Sportsnet’s Hazel Mae and other reporters. Dr. Keith Meister will perform the procedure, and it is possible the surgery could be more complicated since “there is some concern about [Berrios’] ligament,” Mae writes. A recovery timeline (or whether or not Berrios will pitch at all in 2026) therefore won’t be known until the surgery is complete, and a further assessment is made for any ligament damage.
  10. But in front of a very unforgiving media and fanbase Eek I also hope he turns it around though
  11. Really though.. How much is the WL record usually weighted? Hopefully not much. Pretty big deal for those great pitchers on bad teams or vice versa. Must make a difference in your draft order if you're considering two similarly good pitchers but one's on a good team and one's on a bad one. A guy like Paul Skenes is incredible but can barely scrape together 10 wins in a season Meanwhile Taijuan Walker goes 15-6 a few years back riding the Phillies offense
  12. Agreed I don't want to get rid of the win-loss stats for pitchers either. I just take them with a grain of salt. Educated baseball fans understand what it means and it's limitations
  13. Right? Hoffman was certainly not the "most effective relief pitcher" for the winning team last night
