  1. And we may not even have Ortiz anymore so...
  2. At this rate Mark DeRosa is going to chalk up more value than Izturis by a mile
  3. I haven't watched any of these games. Too late especially on ADT. How has Edwin done at third???
  4. Even before that its been a strong point. Are there some loose ends in there? Sure. Especially Lincoln and Rogers. But the rest have been consistently at least good and several of them great
  5. Sorry cant seem to make it legible...
  6. From last night: Toronto IP H R ER BB SO HR ERA Ortiz, R 2.0 5 4 4 1 0 1 6.04 Lincoln 2.0 1 0 0 1 1 0 6.11 Rogers. 2.0 0 0 0 1 0 0 3.77 Delabar 1.0 0 0 0 2 0 0 2.10 Cecil 2.0 0 0 0 0 3 0 1.78 Janssen 1.0 1 0 0 0 1 0 2.00 Loup. 1.0 0 0 0 0 1 0 2.32
  7. Lets give some props to the pen They lead MLB in innings pitched (not a good thing) but they've been really good In this 3 game series against SD, they pitched 22 and 2/3 innings. And gave up a grand total of *1* run. Even when a starter has a bad start they've been keeping us in games Imagine is the starting rotation started to perform...
  8. Yep No one expected Blanco to hit at all But when you have one or both of Izturis and Bonifacio in the lineup it's just so weak at the bottom of the order
  9. Thanks for playing. OPS quiz answer: Blanco .465 Izturis .554 Bonifacio .584 Kawasaki .613 2009 Josh Johnson .620 Lawrie .642
  10. Bonus point if you can name the third baseman with an OPS just barely better than that. And no it's not Mark DeRosa.
  11. The secret of his 3 home run season: http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/marlins/2009/07/29/josh-johnsons-home-run-secret-chris-volstads-bats/
  12. And then think about how pathetic that is Just think about it
  13. Quiz: In 2009 Josh Johnson had an OPS of .620 That's better than 4 position players on this year's roster Name those 4 players without looking it up Bonus point if you can name the third baseman with an OPS just barely better than that. And no it's not Mark DeRosa.
  14. I'm totally going with Josh Johnson Tuesday...
  15. Funny thing is I watch Chopped on Food Network a lot. One of the chef judges names is Aaron Sanchez too. So when you search twitter you get stuff on both of them.
  16. @BKennedyStar: Aaron Sanchez is apparently on @DunedinBlueJays' 7-day DL, according to their roster: http://t.co/mwSvL0d56n (h/t @Minor_Leaguer)
  17. Why was Bautista moved from 3B to RF in the first place? Team need? Ability? Other? I don't really remember...
  18. I'll take Arencibia tonight Just. I dunno.
  19. I'd rather see Bautista at 3B than Edwin Bautista is a boss on the infield
  20. You were supposed to type "Oh wait..."
  21. So... Lind gets to hit against lefties more often from now on right???
