That's hedging bets!!! I say if someone says Jose and not Bautista or Reyes that their vote doesn't count for that day. Sorry, not saying you'll do this but a person could say they meant the other Jose...
Wow I'm suddenly taking this too seriously. Need to lighten up. LOL.
Not sure. But Ricciardi drafted him obviously, and publicly stated that he wished he hadn't. How's that supposed to affect a player? You should never say that.
Maybe because it's only been half a season of beast mode on a team that gets little national attention.
If he carries this on in to next season people will start questioning.
That lineup looked so good on paper to start the season. But only one hitter (Adam Lind) has exceeded expectations, while several (Lawrie, JPA, Bonifacio, Bautista) have underperformed compared to what we probably anticipated.
We need a saviour from somewhere. Hutch? Romero? Morrow?
We flounder and stay out of contention unless someone steps up. The rotation is inadequate as it is.
Absolutely right. And only Buerhle has been consistently good among the three over the past couple of months.
Dickey and Johnson have both been wildly inconsistent all year. It's maddening.
@Chris_Iott: Jim Leyland on the ball near Cabrera's head: "We won't tolerate that. ... There's a price to pay for that."
@jonmorosi: Tomorrow is last Rays-Tigers game this season. If Tigers feel the Cabrera tower-buzzing merits a reply in 2013, we should find out soon.
@jonmorosi: Not saying there should be, necessarily. But Cabrera's response indicated that he was quite seriously offended.
