  1. That's hedging bets!!! I say if someone says Jose and not Bautista or Reyes that their vote doesn't count for that day. Sorry, not saying you'll do this but a person could say they meant the other Jose... Wow I'm suddenly taking this too seriously. Need to lighten up. LOL.
  2. Need last name this year!
  3. Not sure. But Ricciardi drafted him obviously, and publicly stated that he wished he hadn't. How's that supposed to affect a player? You should never say that.
  4. You mean the best pitcher from Canada who decided the WBC wasn't worth his time??? That Ryan Dempster? Yep. Hit him hard boys. Hit him hard.
  5. Career .327 OBP. Too high for a catcher on the Blue Jays.
  6. Oh jeez, he's 37 years old. Hadn't heard his name in so long I'd forgotten about him.
  7. Begin JPA trade speculation in 1... 2... 3... (Joking. This seems like just a depth move)
  8. Depth move? Or part of something bigger?
  9. I need a hint Is his first name Ricky or Cliff?
  10. Maybe because it's only been half a season of beast mode on a team that gets little national attention. If he carries this on in to next season people will start questioning.
  11. That lineup looked so good on paper to start the season. But only one hitter (Adam Lind) has exceeded expectations, while several (Lawrie, JPA, Bonifacio, Bautista) have underperformed compared to what we probably anticipated.
  12. We need a saviour from somewhere. Hutch? Romero? Morrow? We flounder and stay out of contention unless someone steps up. The rotation is inadequate as it is.
  13. Romero could be a legitimate callup if JJ continues on and off the DL or in Wang has bad outings.
  14. 1 BB 7 K Do that a couple of more times Ricky and maybe, just maybe...
  15. Encouraging!
  16. Absolutely right. And only Buerhle has been consistently good among the three over the past couple of months. Dickey and Johnson have both been wildly inconsistent all year. It's maddening.
  17. Dunno. I suspect JB likes the "protection" of Edwin hitting behind him. Lind has been just as good but...
  18. Laughable double standard For the record I don't really suspect Davis is cheating. I'm even more confident that Bautista is not.
  19. Nice This Yankee slide is much appreciated The fact that Chris Davis and the Orioles are responsible for it? Not so much.
  20. Have you ever challenged him to a foot race? If so, how did you do?
  21. The pitch (and ongoing jawing during Fielder's at bat) in question: http://wapc.mlb.com/play/?content_id=28469813&query=&game_pk=347949
  22. @Chris_Iott: Jim Leyland on the ball near Cabrera's head: "We won't tolerate that. ... There's a price to pay for that." @jonmorosi: Tomorrow is last Rays-Tigers game this season. If Tigers feel the Cabrera tower-buzzing merits a reply in 2013, we should find out soon. @jonmorosi: Not saying there should be, necessarily. But Cabrera's response indicated that he was quite seriously offended. http://www.detroitnews.com/article/20130629/SPORTS0104/306290052/1004/
  23. A very quick non-stalking image search suggests its the girl he's been with for a while, she used to be blonde
