  1. Yeah it's bad in every possible way
  2. LOL. I do hope he meant Felix Hernandez...
  3. Bad value yes. But I'd say the majority were legitimately excited about how much better the team was all of a sudden. I count myselves among them and I still say it was a trade worth making. The negatives were the backloaded Reyes and Buerhle contracts and the loss of Escobar's value, but I think we all knew Escobar was leaving no matter what. No one could have predicted how bad of a year Josh Johnson had. Now the Dickey trade? One of the worst in team history.
  4. Sorry I blame Wilner for making it sound like the diagnosis was made 60 seconds ago
  5. Thanks. House had a perfect area for it in the basement. I always multitask while watching games.
  6. Can't figure out why it's upside down...
  7. Why am I watching this? Will I continue after I get off the treadmill? Not sure yet.
  8. Agree And we have depth in AAA SP and catcher need to be the priorities
  9. Dammit
  10. I'm good with an outfield of Cabrera, Rasmus and Bautista for 2014 with 2 of Davis, Gose, Pillar or Sierra on bench Catcher has to be addressed it's just mandatory We need one significant upgrade to the starting rotation and 1-2 guys from within to get healthy/step up (Hutch, Romero, Drabek, Stroman, etc) 2B we may honestly be stuck with Izturis/Goins/Kawasaki I don't see AA doing much more than the above. And that leaves us borderline as a contender. A lot of things have to go right.
  11. Do we really think Melky will be inadequate in 2014?
  12. Meanwhile Bonifacio .364 OBP in Kansas City... Of course.
  13. Well, 7 of them are weak, and one is excellent but prohibitively/insanely expensive. So right, AA is not shopping from that list.
  14. To provide *slight* protection to AA's job is the only reason I can think of. So...
  15. If only we could find a cool headed manager with major league pitching coach experience. You know, like they have in Bos... Oh wait, never mind.
  16. Yes. I just meant you have to take someone off the 40 man roster to call him up.
