At the end of the day I'm not unhappy with either Glad we have both players. Their AAV/luxury tax hit make the overall amounts more palatable I'd have happily had Bo back for what the Phillies were supposedly offering too but that was never going to happen I guess

I still think that Soto contract added at least 50-100MM to what the Jays had to give Vladdy. LOL

I don't like (on the teams' behalf) any of the contracts that Bellinger, Tucker or Bichette got. The AAV plus the luxury tax penalties are just massive. Jays overextended by a year or two on Cease but they had to to fill their biggest need and know it was taken care of early in the off season
