  1. Redmond gives up a solo HR and a double back to back
  2. There's no way they don't take him He hasn't had a bad outing all spring and he has MLB experience. I like guys who are steady if unspectacular (Redmond, Buerhle) more than streaky guys who blow up with some frequency. Especially when you have the offence to back them up. I hate 10-9 games. Too hard on the nerves and bullpen.
  3. Nice waiver wire pickup Was so under the radar. Only ever pitched 3.1 MLB innings for Reds.
  4. ROFLMAO.........that's so bush. Is this true?!?!?!
  5. Yep I actually feel much better about Dickey and MB are work horses. Hutch and Redmond seem solid. And if Morrow gets hurt we have Rogers, Happ, McGowan, Stroman. I'm no longer sure Ervin Santana was really of any need even though I (obviously LOL) thought so 6 weeks ago.
  6. He has 80 MLB innings and appears a "safe" choice Plus no options right? How did we get him anyway I don't even remember.
  7. Buck: Esmil Rogers has 3rd most strikouts of any pitcher in Grapefruit league
  8. They pretty much have to put Redmond in the rotation
  9. Redmond hitting his spot almost every single pitch Nice
  10. And they were 9th in all of baseball last season LOL love it when a stat chack can prove these guys are dead wrong
  11. Well it's kind of true Perennial MVP candidates can probably get away with refusing to do so He knew it might hurt his reputation defensively and might wear him down more physically
  12. Sure as Hell looks it We might actually get the player we THOUGHT we were getting
  13. Nobody out Smart move I almost #LoveThisTeam right now
  14. Unless we trade him and 1.75M to the Phillies for Mayberry Jr.
  15. I felt it thread worthy because we had our whole scouting staff there and he's a good fit I can't imagine AA even blinked at the Francouer news. No way he's interested.
  16. Redmond is a perfectly reasonable #4/5 starter and is making 490k. He's better than Happ who will make 5.2M.
  17. Damn that's good to see Last year was so disappointing
  18. I need to avoid becoming too optimistic about our rotation but I feel better about it than I did a month ago Only the presence of Happ uspets me because I worry we'll take him for the rotation ahead of Rogers and Redmond, both of whom I think are better
