    Yep, and the way GM's are extending pitchers these days it's going to get harder to buy a team and plug holes. Hmmm, now that I say that, that might help us a bit vs BOS and NYY.

    Yep. We still have no depth at 3B, SS or 1B. If any of Reyes EE Lawrie misses 60+ days it REALLY hurts.

    To be honest, the team felt a bit less "corporate owned" when Ted Rogers was still alive.

    I just realized that Gardner is 30. I thought he was a few years younger than that. Yeah, probably just a fair deal both ways. Colby is 3 years younger, with higher peaks but much lower lows than Gardner. Gardner has been very consistent. Teams really like that obviously and are willing to pay for it.
