  1. I can handle most movies when Amy Adams in on screen
  2. Yes Kawasaki is better than Izturis in almost every way and costs 1/3 as much
  3. Keep hoping. I guarantee most pitchers, especially during impending FA years care quite a lot.
  4. Totally. Bargain 1 year SP guys looking to build their value for future contracts don't want to pitch in the RC launching pad against the Yankees Red Sox Orioles and Rays all the time. ERA, HR and W-L records suffer.
  5. Yes. Sportsnet just released this shot of the Jays head scout in action: http://www.the-editing-room.com/img/Trouble-with-the-Curve-4.jpg
  6. Possible this is one of the deals that AA knew he had the option to do the last few months and has been waiting to see if he has to?
  7. http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2014/03/20/levine-samardzijas-future-cloudy-as-blue-jays-others-pursue-him/ By Bruce Levine- MESA, Ariz. (CBS) – Although Jeff Samardzija was making his second-to-last spring training start Thursday in his preparation for Opening Day, his days as a Cub could be numbered. At least 15 scouts, and likely closer to 25, were on hand to watch the 29-year-old right-hander work against Seattle. The Toronto Blue Jays had three scouts in attendance, including their director of professional scouting, top scout and former Cubs general manager Ed Lynch. The Cubs and Samardjia are no closer to a deal on a long-term contract now than they were the last time they had substantive talks in December at the winter meetings in Orlando. Samardzija is working on a one-year deal that was reached just before going to arbitration.
  8. Maybe Amado Jr will give us a SP for Sierra and Kratz after today's power display.
  9. Yeah didn't know he was out if options. And he presumably won't clear waivers if AA tries So there will be more moves. Might be minor though.
  10. The @BlueJays claim OF MATT TUIASOSOPO on waivers from Diamondbacks. To make room on the 40-man roster, LHP LUIS PEREZ has been released.
  11. He is better than Happ, he is cheaper than Happ, and doesn't seem to collapse under pressure. He has some bad starts and he's not a 200 IP workhorse, but I'd take him over Happ for a full season easily.
  12. Esmil Rogers done after 4.2 IP - 5 H, 1 BB, 6 Ks. Bleier in to pitch for the @BlueJays.
  13. He just might be... He's on the team for sure, as BP/swing man at worst. And I'm good with that. I know it's not apopular opinion on here but I like him.
  14. He totally ignored the Hooters girl, barehanded the ball fast and threw a strike to 2B
