    Proposal... There are more people going to the Saturday game. There are very few bars or restaurants nearby the place, and we have no idea what the indoor setup will be like We should make note of a convenient location when we are at the Friday game, post here to decide what would work best. Thinking maybe a bar with seats inside the stadium, preferably one with a view of the field. Then people interested could plan to meet there before the Saturday game, maybe at noon time? Also open to other suggestions

    Reyes has a great arm Only his range is an issue. And he more than makes up for it on offense

    Hard to say Lee was a so so defender. Maybe his bat wasn't always as bad as I remembered or maybe just a small number of recent years?

    Zaun sez McGowan is the best pitcher in the organization.     Of course, most teams could probably say the same. But Lawrie and Reyes just miss so much time...

    The lineup can absorb him in the 9 hole when everyone is healthy The problem is, as soon as you put Izturis in there (when Reyes or Lawrie is out) it's double trouble

    Mariners want some one ready to pitch now and I don't trade Stroman or Sanchez anyway.

    Mariners Looking For Starting Pitching By Charlie Wilmoth [March 26, 2014 at 6:44pm CST] The Mariners are looking for another starting pitcher after the departure of Randy Wolf, Bob Dutton of the Tacoma News-Tribune writes. Wolf was to be part of the Mariners' rotation, but he left the team over a disagreement about a 45-day advance-consent release. The team had just released another rotation candidate, Scott Baker, at his request, and Baker has now agreed to terms with the Rangers. That leaves the Mariners with either Blake Beavan or Hector Noesi in their No. 5 spot, and they're looking for other possibilities. "There are still some things in the works," manager Lloyd McClendon said this morning. "We’re starting to get clarity to the whole picture. Hopefully, by the end of the day, we’ll have more to tell you."

    Yeah they're all just watching it I still think there's a good chance he'll wind up with 2-3 plus pitches over the next year or two and be a very good MLB pitcher

    I don't trust these "losing money" stories sometimes There are so many ways to "hide" revenues to make it look like you're worse off than you are
